1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Juneus — including the Telegram bot (@juneus_bot) and the web dashboard at juneus.io — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Juneus is an AI-powered relationship coaching service. It provides conversational coaching, mood tracking, conflict mediation tools, structured relationship programmes, and optional wellness integrations. Juneus is designed for individuals and couples who want to improve their relationship skills and self-awareness.

Juneus is not a substitute for professional therapy, counselling, or medical advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, domestic abuse, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Juneus. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

Your Juneus account is linked to your Telegram account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Telegram account and for all activity that occurs through it. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Juneus for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or reverse-engineer the AI coaching system
  • Share content that is abusive, threatening, or harassing
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Use automated tools to interact with the service at scale
  • Share your partner's private information without their consent

6. AI-Powered Coaching

Juneus uses artificial intelligence (specifically, Anthropic's Claude) to generate coaching responses. While we strive for helpful and thoughtful guidance, you acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are generated based on patterns and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.
  • Juneus does not provide clinical diagnoses, therapeutic treatment, or medical advice.
  • You are responsible for your own decisions and actions based on coaching interactions.
  • The quality of coaching depends in part on the information you choose to share.

7. Couple Features and Privacy

When you pair with a partner, certain features involve shared data:

  • Private by default: Your individual conversations with Juneus are never shared with your partner. The AI may use general themes from your conversations to inform coaching, but will never quote, paraphrase, or directly reference what you've said.
  • Consent controls: You can set your sharing preference to "open," "ask," or "private" to control how your insights inform couple coaching.
  • Sealed envelopes and exercises: Certain interactive features involve both partners responding. Responses are processed by the AI and summarised — raw responses are not shared between partners.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Juneus supports optional integrations with third-party services such as Oura Ring. When you connect a third-party service:

  • You authorise Juneus to access your data from that service
  • Your use of the third-party service remains subject to their own terms and privacy policy
  • You can disconnect integrations at any time, which deletes all associated data from Juneus
  • Juneus does not sell, license, or transfer integration data to third parties

9. Intellectual Property

The Juneus service, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by Juneus and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you provide (messages, responses, etc.).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juneus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from relationship decisions made based on AI coaching interactions.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the settings menu, which permanently removes all your data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Telegram bot. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
