Juneus ("we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-powered relationship coaching service accessible via Telegram and our web dashboard at juneus.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
By using Juneus, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Your Telegram user ID, first name, and display name
- Relationship preferences and personality information you share during onboarding
- Messages you send to the Juneus bot during coaching conversations
- Check-in mood ratings, notes, and categories
- Conflict descriptions and relationship reflections
- Programme exercise responses
- Love language quiz answers
2.2 Information from Third-Party Integrations
If you choose to connect your Oura Ring account, we collect sleep, activity, and readiness data from the Oura API. This data is collected only with your explicit consent and is used solely to enhance your coaching experience. Oura may also collect usage data about API interactions for its own business purposes, as described in the Oura Privacy Policy.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Session timestamps and interaction frequency
- Dashboard login sessions (via Telegram authentication)
- Standard web server logs when accessing juneus.io
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide personalised AI-powered relationship coaching
- Remember context from previous conversations to maintain continuity
- Generate relationship health insights and trend analysis
- Deliver programme exercises and track your progress
- Integrate wellness data (e.g., sleep quality) to provide holistic coaching
- Send scheduled check-ins, reminders, and follow-ups
- Improve our coaching algorithms and service quality
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled servers.
- Third-party API tokens (such as Oura Ring tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage.
- All data transmission occurs over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections.
- Conversation memories are stored in privacy-scoped namespaces — your partner cannot see your private messages, and you cannot see theirs.
- We implement security measures consistent with GDPR Article 32.
5. Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- AI Processing: Conversation messages are sent to Anthropic (Claude) for generating coaching responses. These messages are processed in real time and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request.
- Partner Features: If you use couple features (e.g., sealed envelopes, conflict mediation), certain summarised insights may be shared with your partner — only with your explicit consent and never as direct quotes.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
6. Third-Party Integrations
6.1 Oura Ring
When you connect your Oura Ring, we access the following data via the Oura API:
- Daily sleep scores, sleep stages, and sleep efficiency
- Daily readiness scores and contributing factors
- Daily activity data including steps and calorie expenditure
- Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) metrics
This data is synced periodically and cached for up to 60 days. You can disconnect your Oura Ring at any time via the /oura command in Telegram or from the dashboard settings, which immediately deletes all stored Oura data.

6.2 Telegram
Juneus operates as a Telegram bot. Your messages are received via the Telegram Bot API. We do not have access to messages sent to other bots or in chats where Juneus is not present.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data: View your coaching history, check-ins, and wellness data through the dashboard.
- Delete your data: Use the "Delete My Data" option in settings to permanently remove all your data, including conversation memories, check-ins, and integration data.
- Disconnect integrations: Remove third-party connections (e.g., Oura Ring) at any time, which deletes all associated data.
- Control sharing: Configure your default sharing preferences (open, ask, or private) to control what context is available in couple coaching.
- Data portability: Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Conversation context windows are maintained for ongoing session continuity, and session summaries are generated for longer-term memory. Third-party integration data (such as Oura Ring data) is cached for up to 60 days.
When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our databases, vector stores, and caches within 30 days.
9. Age Requirement
Juneus is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the Telegram bot. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
